josh and mary's wedding

Yesterday was a fun day. Phil's oldest nephew, Josh got hitched. I say, "got hitched" because it was a very country wedding. They chose Pomeroy Farm in Yacolt, WA, as their venue. I've never been to a wedding where there's hay being baled right behind the guests as the ceremony is taking place. It was a perfect spot for them, though. And it was beautiful. I loved the trees. They said their vows right under a big oak tree and we we all enjoying the shade while that happened.
I loved their gift table. This old truck was perfect. There were also a bunch of lawn games right behind it that people were playing before the ceremony and during the reception.
Two of Phil's nephews (brothers of the groom). I thought this was very sweet.
Mary was walked down the aisle by both of her parents. Her dress was so pretty, lots of beading all over. All the girls were wearing cowgirl boots and similar, but not matching, pale pink dresses.
The happy couple at the reception. All the guys (including the groom's father who married them) wore blue jeans and black shirts. The reception was in a barn that was totally open on the side facing the yard where the ceremony was. There was lots of burlap and blue Mason jars and pretty flowers.
Phil's oldest brother Greg and his wife Kristy came down from Spokane.
Another one of Phil's brothers, Curt, and his wife Kim. They live in Lake Tapps, WA, near Seattle.
Phil's Aunt Jackie and Uncle Paul.
One of the groom's brothers, James, and his girlfriend Laresa.
Us. He was making me laugh.
Mother of the groom dance. Cindy looked so pretty.
They served barbeque and had cupcakes. There was lemonade and iced tea and a big box of fresh WA cherries.

Congrats and best wishes to the newest Mr. and Mrs. Bergland!
