Current Books: I have just started The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.
It's a YA novel set in Auschwitz. I've been wanting to read it for a while now
and it finally came in for me at the library.
Current Playlist: I haven't put all the Christmas CD's away yet, so the
CD changer isn't being used. I've had the Christian version of Delilah on the
last few evenings. She's still solving the world's problems one song at a
time, but when did she make the switch to Jesus music???
Current Color: aqua. Ever since I painted my living room that color
whenever I see it, it takes me to my happy place.
Current Drink: water and tea with the occasional Diet Cherry Coke.
Current Food: roasted red pepper hummus. I go in spurts with my hummus
eating, but it's good.
Current Favorite Favorite: New pj pants and a soft creamy white fuzzy
robe purchased with Christmas money.
Current Wish List: a black sweater, cute scarves, Becky Higgins' Design
A page protectors and Christy Nockels' new album Into the Glorious.
Current Needs: Job, job, job, job, joooooooooooooobbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb. And
new shoes. Black and brown would be nice.
Current Triumph: A funny little refrigerator discovery that warrants a
blog post all of its own. And it's written, I just can't upload pictures for
some odd reason.
Current Annoyance: Figuring out unemployment and the emergency extension
and trying to get someone in the OR unemployment office to answer the stinkin'
phone. It was busy all day today. It's been a big hassle all week. Call Oregon.
No, call Washington. Sorry, we can't help you. Call Oregon.
Current Indulgence: the occasional spoonful of Jif low fat peanut
butter.
Current Mood: Feeling pretty positive today. That's nice for a change.
Current Blessing: sub job tomorrow, 2nd grade.
Current Outfit: Jeans, lilac v-neck long sleeved t-shirt, white socks,
worn out slippers.
Current Excitement: I had 5 comments on my last blog post. That very
well could be a record.
Current Project: Well, this would depend on which room you happened to
be in. The dining room table is covered with Christmas scrap stuff (December
Daily 2010) and the coffee table is covered with Project Life. I have pictures
printed through the end of October and am working like a mad woman to get 2012
finished.

Wilson is famous! You met him here first, folks. I submitted a picture of my
kooky dog on Facebook to ItsaLabThing and it made it to their Christmas special
post on their website here. His picture is at the top, but I'll warn
you, there are lots of cute lab pictures on there. And it makes me feel good to
know I'm not the only crazy dog owner out there.

Boy in the Striped Pajamas is a tear-jerker.. never read the book but saw the movie. Oh, goodness.
I love hummus, too... in fact, that is what is for lunch today!!

Wilson truly is the cutest dog there, but only because I did not get a picture of Mika. Another reason I need to invest in a camera.....all his cuteness is going to waste. Enjoy your sun job today. I am sure the kids are going to just LOVE you.
