did you know???

Did you know that Abraham Lincoln was the President of the log cabin? No? Well neither did I. Only in the mind of a first grader.

Did you know that my Dad thinks I nearly killed my mom as I made my grand entrance into the world? I found this out today from my sister, who is celebrating her birthday. She sent him a text this morning and said, "What were you doing 34 years ago today?" And he replies back, "I was hoping you weren't going to kill your mother like your sister nearly did." Nice, Dad. I couldn't help it that Mom's body didn't want to cooperate.

Speaking of birthdays, did you know there are only 92 more days until mine? Just giving you all plenty of time to plan.

Did you know that I only have six more school days until spring break? I, I will survive (my reoccurring theme song.)

Did you know that really tall Tupperware makes a great vase for roses? A little Tuesday surprise from Phil505. I'd show you a picture, but the camera won't upload to the computer. It says, "cannot detect camera." Whatever. I'm tired of messing with the stupid thing.

Did you know that Sunday is spring ahead day? Set those clocks forward or you'll be late for church. And while you're at it, change the batteries in your smoke alarms too.

Did you know that Girl Scout Cookies are (gulp) up to $4.00 a box? But nobody does mints ever-so-thinly quite like the little ladies. Plus, we support the Boy Scouts at Christmas tree time, therefore, in my logical thinking, we must support the girls at cookie time.

Did you know the NYC Health Department banned breast milk cheese? I am not making this stuff up. I saw the headlines on abcnews.com just this evening. I didn't want to go there and be grossed out, but left the link in case you did. I just can't figure out what makes some people tick.
