let's talk scrapbooking, shall we?

I've slowly been working through my stack-o-pictures, little bits and pieces of life I've been collecting, and digging through my boxes of patterned paper for 2012. I've taken over the dining room table once again and here's what I've got so far for my Project Life album. These are a mixture of WRMK divided page protectors and Becky Higgins' Project Life plastics.

Some people do a picture a day. I tried that on another blog a few years back and barely made it to April. Some people do a weekly spread. Quite frankly, not that much happens around here on a weekly basis because we're boring people. So I'm taking the monthly approach. And if it ends up being one protector, fine. If it takes three or four to tell the story, then I'll go with that. Now I'll let you take a peek.

The title page for 'the year of the dog': it's missing a picture of the 3 of us (which I've yet to take) at the bottom. Wasn't Wilson so cute?

January: I took lots and lots and lots of puppy pictures. Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

I love, love, love these tiny little letter stickers. I have a couple different sets and I'm using them often.

On the right is a protector that I trimmed down. I like how it's smaller and gives the album a little something different. I didn't get a picture of the back, but it's more Wilson pictures you've probably already seen.
There were a lot of pictures of Wilson in January. February hardly has any pictures at all. I don't know what happened, I just didn't get the camera out I guess. Even on Valentine's Day, so sad. To make up for it, I used some stuff in my stash (like that cute little B card) and saved a label off the ginger ale to tell the story of when I was puking-my-guts-out sick.

The back.
A close-up: Started adding text to some pictures. It's easy to do on Picasa. This one makes me laugh! I'm such a dork.
March: Made some picture collages on Picasa. Love that program.
Saved this postcard from the vet. Those people at the East Mill Plain Animal Hospital are hysterical.
Almost done with the beach page. Need to order one or two more to fill in some empty slots on the back.
Then it's on to April and the crazy Easter paparazzi photo shoot. At any rate, this is the most scrapping I've done in quite some time. And it's way more than I have done for 2010 and 2011. If I can manage to get caught up with this year, I might go back and try to do the same for the missing years. It's also nice to have actual pictures to look at instead of staring at them on the computer screen.

Love that!

I can't read the captcha thingys. It keeps taking me 2 tries. =(

They make those things so you need a degree in decoding, for the love of Pete.
