observations. . .

  • Driving home from school yesterday I saw a man and woman walking down the street. She had a 10 pound bag of potatoes slung over her shoulder. Can someone tell me what is wrong with that picture?
  • I saw a bush the other day with white berries on it that I first thought was popcorn that someone had somehow attached to it. Seriously. I was like, "how the heck did they get that popcorn on there like that?" Then I got closer and saw that they were berries and felt like a complete dork.
  • Leaving for school the other morning, one of the neighborhood boys made fake guns and shot at me the whole way down the street. What did I ever do to him? I should've shot back.
  • My mom sent me a whole big envelope full of Salada Tea this week because she is awesome and because I can't find it here anywhere. It's almost as bad as the great Noxzema search of 2010 in which she saved my life by sending me three containers of the great white refreshing tingle.
  • My husband came to school today to deposit my paycheck (I have open house tonight and thus needed his personal assistance). When he came back, he brought me a pre-Valentine's Day surprise. Reese's Cups. Bonus points for you, Babe.
  • Then he took me to dinner. More bonus points.
  • I successfully discussed with some parents today that it would be a good idea for their child's homework to get done before he gets time on the wii. They agreed. Go ahead, call me a rocket scientist.

You had me chuckling all the way down the list. Glad you are that rocket scientist that convinced the parents homework should come before Wii... sheesh.
