Ten (or more) things I need to do in the next 10 days:
1. Send out the cards. Most likely without a letter this year. What else could I possibly say about 2009 that hasn't already been posted on this blog? And Phil said not to stress myself out.
2. Make the buckeyes. However, because my hips don't need them, I think I'm not making any of my other Christmas sweets this year. No pecan tarts. {SADNESS.} No spritz cookies. No fudge. Oh wait, I've never made fudge. I may break down and bake the peanut butter blossoms with the Hershey Kisses in the center. I am all for tradition, ya know.
3. Survive two more rehearsals for the program Thursday night. We have made a lot of progress in a few short weeks, but it's all nearly driving me insane.
4. Buy something for my dad, the world's hardest person to buy for. I do have a really good idea though. One that he'll actually enjoy even.
5. Finish all my scrapbook-y related Christmas gifts, too numerous to mention. Good thing I've got next week off.
6. Ship gifts to Ohio in a timely fashion. Getting those "if it fits, it ships" boxes.
7. Buy a gallon of OJ for the church Christmas breakfast and get it delivered to the church by Friday.
8. Finish shopping for Phil's family get-together that we think we're having, but we're still not sure about.
9. Figure out what appetizer to take on the boat for the Christmas ship parade Friday night. Something that will actually turn out and thus making it seem like I know how to cook.
10. Buy myself my annual Christmas CD. Chris Tomlin has a new one out.
12. Send cards to the following people for the following reasons: My best friend Coby, because her birthday is tomorrow. (Yes, I'm a little late.) A former co-worker Nikki, because she had brain surgery on Monday. My mom, because her birthday is the 21st.
