first grade christmas carolers

So we've been singing Christmas carols all month - all throughout the day. I play CD's when they come in each morning, while they do their handwriting, and during art. We've been working mostly on learning the first verses. But I realized this morning that maybe we better work on the rest of the verses. One of my boys was singing Joy to the World softly to himself and I heard him sing, "Re-eat the sounding joy, re-eat the sounding joy, re-eat, re-eat the sounding joy." We then had a brief discussion about how we don't eat the joy, we want to repeat the joy.

Never a dull moment in that room.
