my weekend in a nutshell
- Craft Warehouse "Spooktacular" sale. Well, Phil worked overtime and someone has to spend that extra money around here. All you Vancouver people get ready, the big Christmas Open House Night of Madness and Mayhem is coming up in just 13 more days!
- Went to Safeway to get a few items and stood in line behind Jane Jetson. She was with her friend Queen Elizabeth. I don't remember Jane's dress being so short, nor do I ever remember her drinking so much beer. I heard the Queen tell the checkout lady that she ordered her dress online and she got a much better deal this year. She only spent $50. Last year's costume cost her a whopping $300!!! Ya, my eyes bugged out of my head too.
- And I'm going to have to check my history books on this one, but the Queen was sporting a whole back full of tattoos. I don't remember ever learning about that in Mr. Friske's history classes.
- Spent the evening at home with the one I love. Watching Dateline. Ahhhh. . .can you say romance?
- Saturday morning - a few errands to run, mochas to get, movie to rent, ellyptical to put together, dishes and laundry to do, a nap to take, and pizza to order.
- Made a couple scrapbooks, the fold-up kind that I'm always going on and on about. I'm stocking up for Christmas. Shhhh. . . don't tell.
- Watched The Proposal. Betty White is hysterical in that movie, but I thought the whole eagle scene was a bit much.
- Went to bed to get that extra hour of sleep in and couldn't fall asleep. Not sure what was keeping me up. Full moon? All the light coming out of the family room? I swear everything we have in there is electronic and has a red, green, or blue light shining on it. Finally popped an Excedrin PM and read for a while. Last time I looked at the clock it said 2:30. Which was really only 1:30, but still.
- Sunday School and junior church today.
- Marty's birthday bash afterward. It's amazing how football and baseball can keep two grown men entertained for an entire day.
- Worked on getting some pictures ready to print.
- Talked to my mom.
- Scrapbooked some more.
- Ready to go to bed, only it's not time yet. My internal clock is going to be messed up all week. Stupid time changes.
