We got back from a field trip today, and, because we had missed our regular recess time, played a game of Outburst Jr. It's the kids vs. the teacher. They get a point for every right answer and I get a point for every answer they miss. It's really fun. The topic was "Illnesses a Lot of Kids Get." So we're going around the room and they're saying a few things like colds and diabetes which really wasn't earning them very many points. So it gets to one boy and he is totally all excited about his answer. You can see it in his face that he just thinks he's got the best one out there. I look at him, give him a nod, and he shouts, "Swine flu!"
A little too much media exposure, anyone???
