So I was working on some props for my Valentine's Day chapel just a little bit ago and every 8 minutes a commercial for Kay Jewelers comes on. Well, they've got this little deal going on now where you can sign up to win a pair of diamond solitaire earrings. So I yell at Phil who's in the office on the computer and our conversation went a little something like this. . .

W ~ "Babe, hurry up and log onto nbc.com to win me a pair of diamond earrings."

P ~ "What?"

W ~ "Register on nbc.com so I can get some free diamond earrings. You'll probably have to write an essay about why I'm the best woman around or something like that."

a minute or two passes

P ~ "I can't find it on here anywhere."

Me, determined to win free earrings, comes into the office to help him find the online form. And I did. But I'm not telling you where I found it because I don't need the extra competition. And once we get there we find that it's just a fill in the blank registration. No essay required.

Darn, cause I'm sure it would've been good.

In order to show proper appreciation for all his hard work entering me in the Kay contest, I leaned down to kiss him . . .

W ~ "It's so not true about this every kiss begins with Kay thing. See, watch."

W ~ "OK, you so totally ruined that one for me. But thanks for entering me for the free diamonds."
