tuesday's trilogy

It was a busy day. A long day. A day I'm glad is almost behind me. Here's my story of the day, broken into 3 separate but not necessarily equal parts.

Part 1 - I spent 12 hours at school today. Tell me that is too much time. It started with a church/school breakfast at 7:30, included several hours of teaching, a working lunch, more teaching, selling two Christmas trees, and a farewell reception for our recently resigned principal.

Part 2 - I spent 3 1/2 hours of that school time with my husband - who came to my rescue to help me sell Christmas trees because I thought I was only going to have one parent there for the 2nd shift. We got away for 30 minutes to grab a bite to eat and chat. LOVE HIM FOR HANGING OUT THERE WITH ME SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO BE BY MYSELF!!! It turns out the coordinator of the tree sale called all my parents last night and was able to scrounge around some other people to help out. So even though I had plenty of assistance, Phil still stayed there with me the whole time. Is that sweet or what???

Part 3 - I came home just in time to catch most of my favorite show. . . The Biggest Loser. Why, oh why, is Vicky still on there? I can't stand that woman. If she ends up winning the whole thing, I'm gonna be ticked. I don't really care too much for Heba & Ed either, so my vote is for Michelle. You can take it or leave it, but Michelle is going to be America's next Biggest Loser.

LOL.... I feel your pain about staying at school too long. Yes, 12 hours IS too long.

That was so sweet of your hubby to join you... he earned some serious brownie points.

I haven't watched Biggest Loser this go around, but I'm with you on Vicky just because I remember those annoying ones I wanted off. ha!!!!
