delightful is. . .

I was reading one of my scrapbook magazines tonight and someone did a page where the journaling for every sentence started with "delightful is." I thought it'd make a great blog. I'm just going to write them down as they pop into my head.

Delightful is sleeping in on Saturdays.

Delightful is the time I choose a white chocolate mocha without the skim and with all the whip.

Delightful is spending time alone with God.

Delightful is chatting with my 6 year old niece and 9 year old nephew on the phone and hearing about their day at school.

Delightful is Granny Fannie's homemade strawberry jam. (One of my favorite photos ~ taken at my bridal shower.)

Delightful is getting real mail for a change.

Delightful is seeing a beautiful sunrise over Mt. Hood.

Delightful is watching it set over the ocean on the very same day.

Delightful is connecting with old friends from long ago on facebook.

Delightful is Phil & Wendy time.

Delightful is dress down day on Fridays.

Delightful is gut-busting hysterical laughter over something that "you had to be there" for.

Delightful is an old mossy bridge.

Delightful is a hair cut with highlights - coming up on Monday. Hallelujah.

Delightful is listening to Chopin's piano music.

Delightful is Satsuma lotion, shower gel, and bubble bath from the Body Shop.

Delightful is the day Simple Scrapbooks Magazine arrives in my mailbox.

Delightful is Phil's chicken pot pie.

Delightful is a double rainbow, remembering God's promise, and subsequently calling Natalie to tell her about it.

Delightful is being creative.

Delightful is still having money left in your account before your next payday.

Delightful is a candle sending spicy fall smells like pumpkin and cinnamon all through the house.

Delightful is a hug. Doesn't matter if it's from a child at school, an old friend I haven't seen in a while, or my husband.

Delightful is the body of Christ.

Delightful is finding a good bargain.

Delightful is date night.

Delightful is knowing you've finished something you've worked really hard to complete.

Delightful is a bucket of hydrangeas (these are from our wedding).

Delightful is going to bed. Goodnight.
