Here are some things I love about my dad. . .
- When I call home, he always says something like, "What do you want?"
- He'll get up at 3:00 in the morning just to take me back to the airport.
- He's an exercise freak!
- He has a tree that actually grows money.
- He reads my blogs.
- He's a great Pa-paw. How many grandpas do you know that let their grand daughters fix up their hair real nice like this AND actually let you get a picture of it?
- He's using hip, modern-day technologies like cell phones & email.
- He eats a piece of dark chocolate every day.
- Often when I call him on his cell phone, he's at the grocery store with my mom.
- He's planning a trip to Vancouver, right dad??? Well, you did say that one time NOT to get all excited, but I just can't help myself.
- He's funny. Case in point. . .
- He supports missionaries.
- He's totally into sea salt.
- He let me take a ride in his new truck. Sweet!!!!
- In his old truck, (the light green truck from way back when) he used to be really good at running over ground hogs. I doubt he makes a habit of it in the Tundra.
- He loves all my friends as much as I do.
- He flies me home occasionally; but once he gets his share of me, then he sends me back.
- He secretly wants to scrapbook shop with me.
- He's still married to my mom (after all these years). That's a total inside joke, people.
- He loves me. (Well, maybe not after this blog. But. . .)
Yep, so there you have it. Happy Birthday, Dad! Enjoy your day! Give me a call when the race is over!
