the reindeer antlers don't fit him anymore.
the wreaths are hung.
the nativities are out of the boxes.
the rubbermaid containers are back in the garage.
the carols are playing.
the laundry is in the washing machine.
the invitations have been mailed.
the cookies are baked.
the dining room table is still a mess.
the kitchen is a disaster.
the drinks and appetizers haven't even been purchased.
but it doesn't matter, because it's cookie party central here tomorrow afternoon.
and i can't wait!
