out of all the things he could've said about my teaching. . .

First grader Mr. N. says to me today, "Mrs. Bergland, you're the best teacher ever!"

Me: "Oh ya, why's that?"

Mr. N. "Because you scrapbook."

See, if these children take anything out of my classroom after being in here with me for 180 days, it will be that Mrs. Bergland loves white chocolate mochas just as much as she loves scrapbooking. And isn't that what's primarily most important in the education of these 15 children I have under my care this year?

This is awesome. My youngest son told me that he isn't sure what he wants to be when he grows up: either a professional scrapbooker or a zookeeper! Shhh, don't tell his dad!

I'm sure the experts would agree with you.

HA! I love what the kids think by the end of the year. My kids know I love green and purple, dark chocolate and that photography should be a sport. lol!!
