for the love of all things riverdance

You wore green today, right? Well, I was all decked out in my homemade glitzy tinsel shamrock necklace and bracelets. Nobody was going to pinch me. I had the Celtic music going as the kids came in and immediately started step dancing. It's kind of my St. Patrick's Day tradition. And they thought it was pretty cool. (My necklace, not the music!)

My sister has kept my Willow Tree collection alive and well for some time. This year for Christmas she told me to go pick out one I wanted because she couldn't remember which ones I had any more. I almost went with one holding a heart, but I thought that one was too mushy, something Mr. 505 should get me instead of my sister. Then I saw this one. And I knew. I knew she was the one.

Before I got married, my sister, my friend Natalie, and I went to see Riverdance. I was already in love with the music and seeing it and hearing it live just confirmed what I already knew. So I chose this angel in honor of our girls' night out. Isn't she cute?

These things, I warmly wish for you-
Someone to love,
Some work to do,
A bit of o’ sun
A bit o’ cheer
And a guardian angel
Always near.
