hey, people of ohio. . .my tulips are coming up

It's the winter that won't end over there in my native homeland. My nephew hasn't had school the last three days. Snow. Freezing rain. Cold. And many of you, my faithful readers, are dealing with the insanity of winter as well. So I thought you should all know that I saw my tulips and daffodils peeking up out of the ground the other day. And it was 45ish and partly cloudy today. Just in case you think spring isn't coming. I'd say come on over so you can see for yourself that it is, but then there's that whole you've-got-to-get-to-the-airport-without-getting-stuck-in-a-snowdrift-ordeal.

Phil505 and I signed our life away Monday night. We put an offer in on this house!

No! Not the eyeball house. Although I've been told that I'm crafty enough to paint my own eyeballs on it if I wanted to.

Here's the lowdown - 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, family room with fireplace, kitchen, dining room, deck, shed, raised garden beds, water feature with a little waterfall at the front door. A waterfall, people!!! You know how I love the sound of moving water!

It's a short sale which, if you haven't shopped for a house lately, means the sale of it will be anything but short. We're hoping and praying that the powers that be at Bank of America decide that they like our offer and actually make it a short sale. Until then, we wait. And watch the tulips come up.

How exciting, Schwen!! I hope the offer goes through and you guys get the house. Things are well here. Josie has settled into a nice routine. (not that she doesn't have her moments) :) The downside- I haven't had time to even touch any scrapbook stuff. The upside- I get the sweetest grins with arms and legs flailing around every morning. (And that's not from Phil, either!) :) I hope things are going well for you and Phil! Missing you!
