i have nothing exciting to write about

I've been neglecting the ol' blog, simply because I have nothing to knock your socks off about. This is all I can think of to tell you. Prepared to be bored out of your minds.
  • I get the day off tomorrow. I'm lovin' that.
  • I'm going to meet my friend Angie at the Starbucks mothership at 9:30. Not too early. Not too late. Making time for the lady friends.
  • We call it the Starbucks mothership because ??? I really don't know. We just do. It's big. And there are about 2 or 3 other Starbucks on that same street that aren't nearly as large.
  • Maybe my picture of the day tomorrow will be the Starbucks mothership.
  • I was forced to wake up from my Sunday afternoon nap by screaming neighbor kids. It sounded like they were standing right outside my bedroom window. Which meant they must've been floating in air because we live on the 2nd floor.
  • I've lost 3 pounds.
  • I posted this in my project 365 blog, but this week I heard that Simple Scrapbooks will cease to exist after only 2 more issues. Would someone get me a tissue??? And Creative Memories filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in November. What does that say about my hobby? Or, as Phil would say, about my fad? (I don't care what you say, babe. Scrapbooking is NOT a fad. And. . . I love ya.)
  • Nits, not live bugs, have been found in the heads of some school children. Anyone wanna come check my head? itch itch.
  • I only have to write lesson plans for 3 days this week. We have a teacher workday on Friday.
  • Next Monday is also an inservice day, so only a 4 day week of plans next week!
  • Every time I go back to the Clinique counter to replace my makeup, I've found that what I'm coming back for has been discontinued. Just when I'm in love with something, I can't get it anymore. This has happened with my blush, touch tint eye stuff, wedding day lipstick that I LOVED, and something else. At least they still have their Happy Heart perfume.
  • The neighbor kids are now screaming right outside our door.

That's all she wrote.
